Oh you all know what rocks my boat! Give me a concept, let me throw together props and costumes and build a perfect family photo session and you will have a happy Monique! The only thing we were REALLY missing was an old gypsy wagon… now that would have been awesome!
My sister and I had been “talking” about doing her photo session for months. Finally she told me “You come up with the idea and I will figure out the date.” Apparently she works backwards from the way I do, needing to know a concept behind an event before actually scheduling the event. LOL! SO that’s what we did. Gads! Enough about the session planning… more about the M’s!
When I was looking at these pictures I was thankful for my thick skin and ability to resist being emotional, because I really was moved by how much I love these 4 people. My sister and I shared a bedroom most of our childhood. And I hated it it, hated her! I dunno why, maybe it was the forced “kiss and make-up”, maybe it was just living with someone 27/7. Fortunately, it all worked out and by high school we were best friends. Another couple of years and we’d be sneaking out of our bedroom in the middle of the night.. but not to go party or meet boys like other teens our age. nope. We would sneak out to walk to the gas station to buy 44 oz. sodas and bags of cookies! Nutty! Now we’re “old” ladies, working hard, raising kids, and taking care of our hubbies (and occasionally sneaking out to meet at the store in the middle of the night to buy snacks)
Love you Lis!

AAAAmaaaaZING!!! You are SOOO good.
How did I not see these yet? They’re fantastic. I love the Kitt Kittredge feel that they have going for them. So Darling!!!
Seriously?! I mean, seriously?! These are ridiculously awesome…and the first song on the playlist to go with it is Flogging Molly?! geez, talk about whispering to the insomniac in me right now – I don’t wanna go to bed, I want to adore this session <3
Okay, and the fact that you and your sis snuck out and STILL sneak out for soda and snacks…love it! My best friends and I used to sneak out in the middle of the night just to walk around the neighborhood and have deep conversations (or at least they were deep when we were 16 and 17 lol)
