It is a very special time of year for us. I came from a family of inspired costumers, performers, and creative minds. I married a man of the same creative type. We are raising children with energy and imagination. A graveyard is set up in our front yard. The windows of our spooky home have been boarded up. We anxiously await the festivities of tomorrow’s evening. Happy Halloween!

Some times I think maybe I’ve been in Albuquerque too long. The idea of moving somewhere new, somewhere unfamiliar, seems exciting. How fun it would be to meet more people, have different experiences, and be the new family in town. And then I see a family like the I’s… a family I have known since their oldest son was 3 or 4… the mom used to come visit me with her second son when he was only a baby… and I realize how new and fascinating this experience is… how as an Air Force child I was never in one place longer than a few years, and now I get to stay still and watch babies grow into young men and women. That is definitely a wonderful thing to see!

Mr. I is a podiatrist in the Albuquerque / Rio Rancho area, hence the feet picture. I got so many great shots of their feet, I think I am going to have to incorporate that into more sessions!
