Welcome and thank you for stopping by my blog!

My name is Monique (or Moki if you prefer). I am a creative art photographer serving Albuquerque, New Mexico and surrounding areas. My photography is not going to look like other photographers work. That is because I offer a finely tuned, uniquely designed, client inspired portrait experience. I believe portraits should be more than just a picture of your face, they should be a story about who you are.

Browse my blog, leave a comment or two, and let me know if one of a kind portraits are the right fit for you.

The Happiest Place on Earth

Friday, August 26th, 2011

My husband and I met with Kim and Brad for dinner at Disney’s new Trader Sam’s Tiki Bar. We ate good food… talked about eating good food… let the boys talk some football… laughed… and enjoyed the magical ambiance. And if good food and company weren’t enough, we did their photo session in Disneyland! Kind of a dream come true for me! Kim and Brad are now both on my top 10 list of favorite people in the world!!!

Albuquerque Family Photography (Natives return to ABQ and do another shoot with me!)

What's on t.v.? Once upon a time I decided I would do everything I could to never take a boring photo again.

I wanted to be a family photographer that did sessions for people with personality and style. I wanted stories to be told and art to be made.

And this was the family that was there when it happened!

Back then they were only 3 and a half people, mom and dad both wore Doc Martens (even though mom was so beautifully pregnant) They followed me around downtown Albuquerque, making one of my favorite session happen! That session brought me new confidence and direction.

They are raising such AWESOME kids who are full of excitement and love!
